3. It is important to remember these rules:
To make a difference in the alphabet letters, spelling and pronunciation, the contestant must answer:
- “____ mayúscula” or “____ con acento” or “ü con diéresis” according to each case.

Examples: ¿Cómo se deletrea Martha?
Se deletrea eme mayúscula, a, erre, te, hache, a.
¿Cómo se deletrea López?
Se deletrea ele mayúscula, o con acento, pe, e, zeta.
¿Cómo se deletrea bilingüe ? ü (diéresis to pronounce the u)
Se deletrea be, i, ele, i, ene, ge, u con diéresis, e
- “espacio” between two words to be spelled.
Examples: ¿Cómo se deletrea Estados Unidos?
Se deletrea e mayúscula, ese, te, a, de, o, ese, espacio, u con mayúscula, ene. i, de, o, ese

➢ “uve” (V) is accepted.
