- Other art materials as needed.

- Think about the idea of JOY.
- Listen to the musical piece "Ode to Joy".
- By Beethoven.
- Played by the NC Symphony.
- Think about something joyous or joyful in your own life or in the world around you.

Create a visual artwork that represents your JOY.
- Use any art materials that you want - drawing, collage, sculpture, etc.
- Make it about half sheet of paper.
- It can be realistic, abstract, or non-representational.
- Work on in for 30-40 minutes.
- Work on it during LIVE Zoom meeting.
- Complete it during WORK TIME.
- Take a photo of your completed JOY.
- When you take the photograph, make sure it fills up the frame.
- Upload your photo to the NC Symphony 1State/1Score Site
- Take a screenshot of your submission acceptance.
