Paper Animal Sculpture

Description:

• Create a 3D sculpture of one of your favorite animals.

Objective(s):

• How can you use paper to create 3D forms?
• How can you represent an animal in the most realistic way?

Materials:

• 1-2 sheets of white paper (any kind will do) the size of office paper.
• Scissors.
• Adhesive: Glue, tape, staples, etc.

Instructions:

1. Create a paper sculpture of one of your favorite animals.
2. It must be an animal that has legs/wings or fins (no snakes!)
3. You may cut, fold, tear, crumple, wrinkle, etc. the paper.
4. Work on the overall 3D form first - basic form of the animal.
5. Add details like pattern, fins, antenna, etc.
6. All details must be made of paper - drawing is only allowed to mark the paper for cutting, tearing, etc.
7. Work on it during LIVE Zoom meeting.
8. Complete it during WORK TIME.
9. Take a photo of your completed Paper Animal.
10. When you take the photograph, make sure the animal fills up the frame.
11. Make sure it is against a neutral background - white, gray, black.
12. Open this quiz.
13. List your animal.
14. Upload the photo(s) of your animal to this quiz.
