This is the one tool that all musicians use. Whether they are singing, playing piano or conducting an orchestra there is always a music staff in sight. While it may seem like a jumble of lines and symbols, this module is designed to demystify the music staff and break it down so you can become a better musician.
So to answer our first question: what is the music, staff? It is a tool used by musicians to read music. It is made up of 5 horizontal lines and the 4 spaces in between that represent different pitches. There are other symbols that give clues on how to read the music and act like a map key.
