Violence | Using physical force to hurt someone or to cause damage. |
Bullying | Seeking to harm, intimidate or coerce (someone perceived as weak or vulnerable) |
hazing | An initiation process involving harassment, the practice of playing unpleasant tricks on someone or forcing someone to do unpleasant things. |
dating violence | A pattern of assaultive and controlling behaviors that one person uses against another in order to gain or maintain power and control in the relationship. |
Sexual Assault | The act in which a person intentionally sexually touches another person without that person's consent, or coerces or physically forces a person to engage in a sexual act against their will. |
Family Violence | Any act committed by one family or household member against another family/household member that is: intended to cause physical harm; bodily injury. |
Verbal Abuse | The act of directing negative statements toward someone, causing emotional harm. |
Sex Trafficking | The acquisition and sale of human beings for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation, sexual slavery, or forced labor for other people of the trafficker. |
